Chad Grimley, CFA, began working at Grimley Financial Corporation (GFC) in March 2016 during his sophomore year at Saint Joseph’s University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2018 with a double major in Finance and Accounting. While at Saint Joseph’s, Chad served as Vice President of Alumni Relations for Beta Gamma Sigma, a business honor society with more than 580 chapters worldwide. With his support, the Saint Joseph’s chapter ranked among the top three chapters globally during his senior year and earned the bronze award.
At graduation, Chad received both the Dean’s Award and the Accounting Award for achieving the highest GPA in the Haub School of Business and being selected as the top accounting student. He also spent four years playing semi-professional baseball in the Tri County Baseball League, including two years as a player coach.
Chad was awarded the CFA® charter in 2025. The Chartered Financial Analyst® designation reflects his commitment to the highest standards of ethics, analytical rigor, and long-term financial decision making.
At GFC, Chad serves as Chief Operating Officer and works closely with CFO David Averell on audit support, financial oversight, and operational strategy. He operates as a cross-functional leader across the organization, strengthening internal processes, supporting client solutions, and partnering with VP of Marketing & Client Relations Kristen Grimley Kavanagh on technology enhancements that advance service quality and performance.
In his free time, Chad enjoys snowboarding and spending time with family and friends.
